A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory INSERM U1173, UFR des Sciences de la Santé, Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines in collaboration with the unit of Helicobacter Pathogenesis, Institut Pasteur, Paris. The position is for two years starting January 2016, in the context of the project EMMIE on : « MultiModal Endoscopy for Inflammatory lesions of the Stomach » funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), involving 6 partners. The candidate will develop the project half-time in the INSERM laboratory and half-time at the Institut Pasteur.
We are developing a multidisciplinary project including biophysicians, clinicians, and biologists that aims to develop an imaging diagnostic tools using in vitro and in vivo approaches.
The mission of the candidate will be to develop cellular models coupled to in vivo analysis in mice for the detection of inflammatory and pre-neoplastic lesions generated under various conditions including infection and to improve imaging techniques for their visualization diagnosis.
Desired skills and experiments :
– Excellent knowledge and confirmed expertise in cellular and molecular biology, host-pathogen interaction, Immunology
– Mastering in imaging techniques
– Expertise in small animal model experimentaion will be highly appreciated
