Membership

PhD students and postdoctoral fellows may become an NDPIA member if they are enrolled at a Swedish university/institute or with one of our international partners and if they are active in research on infections and/or antimicrobials.

The NDPIA programme does not have any mandatory activities. Participants will gain access to a national network focusing on infections and antibiotics, with the possibility to apply for travel and accommodation support for programme activities not provided at the home university.

You are expected to present your research at the biannual National Infection Biology Meeting. All courses and the biannual meeting can be attended for free. Members may apply for co-funding for travel and accommodations to the biannual meeting and courses.

Associate Membership

If you are NOT enrolled as a PhD student or postdoctoral fellow at a Swedish university/institute or with one of our international partners but are active in research within infection biology and antimicrobials, you may become an associate NDPIA member.

Associate members may participate in our courses and other activities. However, NDPIA members will have a priority over an associate member for course enrollment when participant numbers are limited.

Associate members may attend most courses and the biannual meeting for free. However, travel and accommodation to attend a course and the biannual meeting cannot be co-funded by NDPIA and should be paid by your supervisor, from stipends, or yourself.
