32nd Annual Meeting of NSCMID – Infections and Antibiotics

This year's meeting of the Nordic Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (NSCMID) will bring together researchers, practitioners, experts and companies involved in the broad filed of infectious diseases including diagnostics, prevention and antimicrobial treatment. The meeting will be held in Umeå 3-6 September, 2015, with two parallel workshops 3 September: "Meet the Experts workshop" and "Workshop on modern tools in infectious disease epidemiology".

Registered participants of the National Doctoral Programme in Infections and Antibiotics (NDPIA) are offered free registration and accommodation and the possibility to apply for co-funding of travel costs (see below).

All NDPIA members participating in the meeting are expected to attend one of the workshops 3 September and to submit a poster abstract.

The first registration dead-line is prolonged to June 22, 2015 – after this date the registration fee is increased with 1000 SEK, not to be covered by NDPIA. Also the abstract submission dead-line is set to June 22, 2015.

Benefits of NDPIA participants
The free accommodation offered by the NDPIA covers lodging in a shared double room size small or medium at the hotel U&Me (to be booked via the conference web site www.nscmid2015.com as one step of the registration process). If shared double room is not applicable, other accommodation can be booked, but then the participant must cover the difference between a shared double room (size medium) at U&Me (799 SEK) and the booked accommodation variant (also to be booked via the conference web site). Of course participants are free to organize accommodation in other ways as well, i.e. to select "No accommodation" at the conference registration web site, but for this meeting specific applications for co-funding of accommodation costs will not be considered (only applications for travel costs will be considered, see below). NDPIA participants employed in Umeå are considered to be "local" participants and are not elegible to free accommodation in connection with the conference.

If you want to apply for co-funding of travel costs related to participation in the meeting, please fill out the form below.
