We warmly invite you to attend a mini-symposium with Marina Aspholm, Per Saris, and Kristian Riesbeck on May 20. This event is organized by NDPIA, American Society for Microbiology (ASM), Umeå Centre for Microbial Research (UCMR), and Umeå University (UMU).

You have the opportunity to participate either on site at Umeå University or online via Zoom (link will be sent upon registration).

In addition to exciting scientific talks, PhD students and postdocs will have a unique opportunity to meet with Professor Marina Aspholm during an informal lunch seminar. Marina will share her personal journey from PhD student to professor, offering valuable insights on career development and planning a successful research career.
The lunch seminar will be followed by an open discussion — also available via Zoom.
