PhD student networking opportunity in Germany 21-23 June

The Helmholtz Graduate School for Infection Research (HZI Grad School/GS FIRE) in Braunschweig, Germany, is inviting NDPIA PhD students to their retreat 21-23 June (in the Harz). The retreat is mandatory for all HZI Grad School PhD students and the eight first NDPIA PhD students who want to join the retreat will receive a maximum of 6000 SEK for co-funding of travel costs. The retreat and accommodation in Germany (in shared double rooms) are free of charge.

At the retreat all participants will present their research either via a personal poster or via a cross topic presentation where 2-3 persons are presenting together. No presentations by single individuals will be included.

There will be many opportunities for networking both during the scientific parts of the retreat and during social events. A program will be included as soon as possible (pending titles of presentations etc.).

Airports in Hannover or Berlin are the best options for reaching Braunschweig. A bus will leave from Braunschweig at 2 p.m. 21 June to the Harz and from the retreat venue, Harzhöhe, 23 June at 2 p.m. to Braunschweig. The bus ride is free for everybody. NDPIA participants will receive free accommodation in Braunschweig 20-21 and 23-24 June if this is required.

If you are interested in joining the retreat, please fill out the form below as soon as possible and by 30 May at the latest. The maximum number of NDPIA participants is set to eight.
