In the style of a journal club, participants critically assess scientific articles selected by the group to explore article structure, strengths and weaknesses, common pitfalls, and the peer-review process.

Participants will be assigned to groups of max. 4 students and are expected to read all the selected articles in advance and be prepared for active discussion. 

Preparation required: Participants must identify a scientific article they wish to discuss and submit it to the organizer at least seven days prior to the workshop.

In collaboration with the Norwegian research school Microbiology Matters (MiMa | UiT), three NDPIA members are offered a spot to their online workshop on the anatomy of a scientific paper.

NDPIA members can register below. In case of oversubscription, selection of participants will be made based on the submitted motivation for attending the workshop.
