The workshop is designed to provide theoretical knowledge on the mechanics of light/fluorescence microscopy and on the use of Photoshop for image processing. In addition, fluorescent microscopes are set up in the same room so that hands-on training is coupled with theoretical learning. The workshop is team taught by several talented scientific microscopy photographers and microscopy experts from BergmanLabora AB. The workshop is sponsored by Umeå Centre for Microbial Research (UCMR).
