The Swedish Research Council (VR) is funding a National doctoral programme in infection and antibiotics. The funding of the programme is provided for three years with a possible five-year extension.
The programme, established 2014, is coordinated by MIMS
(Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden, Umeå
University) and connects the research environments of infectious disease and infection biology throughout the country via the Swedish National Network for Infection Biology.
Both PhD students and postdocs are welcome to participate in the programme. No activities are mandatory and the programme offers access to a national network with the posibility to participate in courses, workshops etc. and to apply for financial support for participation.
