This 1 ECTS course will cover theoretical and practical aspects of single cell analysis with focus on microbial single cell genomics in the practical part. We include lectures that cover eukaryotic single cell omics work done at our sister facilities. In addition we will have research presentations from young scientists working in this field.

Topics covered will include:

• Single cell genomics for microbial cells in theory and praxis.
• Eukaryotic single cell transcriptomics and proteomics
• Single cell analysis techniques, e.g. droplets, in situ hybridization

Each participant is also required to give a very short presentation about their work/project.
