The Swedish Research Council (VR) is funding this National Doctoral Programme in Infection and Antibiotics (NDPIA) until 2020. The programme, established 2014, is coordinated by MIMS (Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden, Umeå University) and connects the research environments of infectious disease and infection biology throughout the country via the Swedish National Network for Infection Biology.

Both PhD students and postdocs registered at Swedish universities are welcome to participate in the programme. No activities are mandatory and the programme offers access to a national network with the posibility to participate in courses, workshops etc. and to apply for financial support for participation.
