This 1.5 ECTS course at Karolinska Institutet will cover the basics to understand epigenetic principles and methods. The focus will be on demonstrating and explaining current methods in the field, e.g. bisulfite pyro-sequencing, LUMA, MeDIP, Illumina 450k bead chip, hydroxymethylcytosine analysis and ChIP. Some methods will include hand-on practice.
