SciLifeLab is a national research infrastructure funded by the Swedish government. SciLifeLab provides technologies and expertise services to Swedish researchers. For PhD students and postdocs within all Swedish universities, SciLifeLab offers training courses and workshops as well as guidance and mentorship.

Bioinformatics advisory program
To increase large-scale research competence in the sciences, SciLifeLab offers a bioinformatics advisory program for PhD students. Applications are received once a year. If accepted into the 2-year program, the student is assigned a senior bioinformatician that acts as a personal training advisor.

The SciLifeLab Bioinformatics platform (NBIS) organizes weekly drop-in sessions with bioinformatics experts to discuss your bioinformatics needs, free of charge.
