A 1 ECTS course on the fundamental theory and operational principles as well as specimen preparation techniques for scanning and transmission electron microscopy (SEM/TEM) will be given at Umeå University 160830-160901. The aim is to provide general and basic introduction to PhD students and postdocs who would like to work with EM methods in their projects. Participants from all research departments and universities are admitted and there is no requirement for specific focus of research topics.
